This hostel is in a fantastic location, with easy access to the railway station and the central shopping area. It is also within walking distance of shops, making it convenient for backpackers. The room design is great, and the reception staff are very helpful. The hostel is in the center of the city, providing easy access to all the attractions.
The walls of the rooms are quite thin, which can lead to noise disturbances from outside.

During my recent business trip to Bangkok, I had the pleasure of staying at Monomer Hostel. Though it was chosen by my director, I was pleasantly surprised by the array of recreational opportunities the hotel offered. From the rooftop terrace where I could unwind after a long day of work, to the cozy communal lounge where I met fellow travelers, Monomer Hostel truly made my stay memorable.
The guard in front was very rude about the parking.

The hostel was conveniently located near public transportation and had easy access to coffee shops and convenience stores. The staff were friendly and made sure someone was available to let me into the hostel even at 2am. The pictures of the hostel were accurate, and the facilities were clean and functional. The hostel also had laundry services available, which was a great convenience.
The private room at the top of the hostel was noisy at night, with sounds from the trains, air conditioning vents, and whenever someone used hot water. The room was also small and had limited space to open luggage.

The common area was lively and filled with games, including a foosball table and a gaming console, which kept the kids entertained for hours. The staff were friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make us feel at home. Our private room was cozy and clean, with a comfy bed and plenty of space for the whole family. The location was fantastic, just steps away from the BTS, making it easy for us to explore the city. We also appreciated the free coffee and toast in the morning to kickstart our day of adventures!
My children wanted a small outdoor play area or a garden space where they could run around and play.

I chose Monomer Hostel for its convenient location near Jim Thompson House and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hostel offers great amenities such as a snack bar/deli and dry cleaning/laundry services. The snack bar/deli was a nice touch and provided a convenient option for quick bites during my stay in Bangkok.
Beware of the private room on the 5th floor with slippery stairs and no slippers provided. The room's pictures can be misleading as it is relatively small and the mattress is on the floor, although still comfortable.

The guestrooms at Monomer Hostel Bangkok have a welcoming and comfortable decor, making you feel right at home. The shared lounge and kitchen area are a great bonus, allowing guests to socialize and cook their meals. The daily maid service ensures cleanliness and tidiness during your stay. The air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen televisions provide a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The shared kitchen is convenient for preparing meals and interacting with other guests. The quadruple room includes a tumble dryer and air conditioning, making it suitable for families or a group of friends. The bathrooms are equipped with showers, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers for added convenience.
Personally, I found the wireless internet access a bit slow, but others might still find it sufficient.

I had a wonderful stay at Monomer Hostel. The location was incredibly convenient, being close to the BTS station and allowing easy access to explore Bangkok. The hostel itself was spotlessly clean, and I was impressed by the fast and smooth check-in process. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The cafe next door was a great bonus, offering delicious food and drinks. The wifi was super fast, which was ideal for staying connected. The bathroom and room were both clean and well-maintained. Plus, the big locker provided added security for my belongings. I had a fantastic experience at Monomer Hostel and would highly recommend it to others.

As young families, we absolutely loved our stay at this hostel. The staff was incredibly helpful and cheerful, making us feel right at home. We were able to relax and explore without any worries. The rooms and bathroom facilities were clean and tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. The hostel's location near transportation and water ferry lines made it convenient for us to get around. Additionally, the free coffee and tea available 24/7, as well as the additional small breakfast included in the price, were a nice touch. All in all, excellent value for money.
Felt like they were family, no complaints whatsoever.
